CCTV “Square of Passion” Program
CCTV “Square of Passion” Program arrives at Stone Forest, more than 3,000 audience are singing patriotic songs together!
On 2nd March, the "patriotic songs you sing. Kunming stone forest article" passion square art performance hosted by the central propaganda department, civilization office and kunming municipal government, held in the beautiful scenery of the stone forest. More than 3000 Yi people are singing the patriotic songs along with stars as Liu Hegang, Guo Feng, Siqin Gerile and so on.
The performance started with enthusiasm in the Yi people’s Sanxian lute. Liu Hegang, Yu Naijiu, Liu Wei, Tang Jun, Yao Linhui, Guo Feng, Siqin Gerile, Zhou Yanhou sang the songs respectively to praise our great country and to promote our national pride. The friendly locals who wear the splendid ethnic costumes separated into different groups as government office, children, moral models, volunteers and ethnic minorities, to sing the songs along with the above mentioned stars, to praise our county, praise the Stone Forest and also our happy life.
Local stars as the Black Rock Band, the original ecological Big Tiger Band and and actors from Shilin art troupe also performed for the audiences in multiple stage forms. Those songs and dances with strong Yi features, show the natural heritage of Stone Forest unique plateau beauty to the worlds, and also they are a further explanation to the three famous brands of Yunnan - "spring city", "Stone Forest", and "Ashima".
It is worth mentioning, the show also invited the singer Du Lihua, who sang for the leading lady Ashima in the movie “Ashima” and also some other old artists of the movie to tell stories and their deep feelings about the movie "Ashima", and sing the songs from the movie as well. The moral model, Huai Yanfang also participated in the show, and received the CCTV hostess Zhang Lei’s interview, and gave a speech about her understanding and feelings of gratefulness and dedication.
It is reported that it is the first time the TV program “Square of Passion” recorded at Stone Forest. The show will be played on CCTV-3, the Arts channel on March 15, 2012 after edition. "Sing patriotic songs together" is the important part of national patriotism education program, and has been recording feature programs in many provinces throughout the country since 2009.
