The 28th session of World Heritage Committee Conference was held in Suzhou on 28th June of 2004, and the “Suzhou Decision” has been adopted.
The "Suzhou Decision" revised the Cairns Decision and decided to examine up to two complete world heritage nominations per state party each year since 2006, it also says at least one of such nominations should concern a natural property.
The world heritage committee accepted the world heritage declaration nominations increased to 45 each year, including previous exposition put off the project, and the extension project review, multinational combine the project and emergency application projects.
